New video from Darey featuring the gorgeous Mr Flavour, "SISI EKO". I love the concept of the video although its quite similar to Gaga- Chuddy K. It was directed by Mark Hofmeyr, and in the video both Flavour and Darey are trying to 'woo' this beautiful girl. The video has cameos from Dr Sid, Jimmy Jatt, Skales, Waje, Omawumni, Eldee and others. I dont understand Igbo but when Flavour speaks it, i dont know what hes saying but it just sounds so sexy. Both Flavour and Darey both look equally good in this video, we see Darey spotting the Ankara trend, partnering up ankara trousers with non traditional clothing; and he does it well.
Video from newcomer Ezi Emela, the beautiful Afrobeats singer has debuted her single "Catch My Heart" which features other Afrobeat artist Mista Silver and Kwob and was directed by Mr Moe Musa. The song is real sweet and the lyrics are lovely; and cant wait to hear more from her.

I have fallen in love with this song from the first time i heard it a few months back and not a day goes by that i haven't played it since. Its one of the most beautiful songs Brymo has done, as well as We All Need Something. The song is just too beautiful, its the violins that add that classy touch to it as well as the lyrics, imagine waking up to your boyfriend singing this song to you; pure bliss. The video was released to yesterday on Brymo's official YouTube page (link will be placed below the video) and was shot in Lagos and was directed by AJE FILMWORKS, some have been quite critical of the video saying its not as good as the song itself, honestly speaking i would have loved to have seen Brymo interact with a leading lady, showing a more affectionate side to him that we haven't seen; nevertheless the video is ok but could be better. Brymo looks fabulous, i cant fault his outfit, a nice sharp suit slim fit suit, crisp white shirt and some nice shoes, he looks H O T; i cant lie; and i love how he infuses yoruba into his lyrics.
I cant say this enough,the song is just too beautiful and I could keep going and on about how much I love it; but this song will and must be played at my wedding, preferably my wedding to Brymo (Amen o, lol), sang by the leading man himself.
New single from D'banj, some people have been quite critical of the song; this is most probably because it sounds a lot different to Oliver Twist. The song reminds me of D'banj in his Soco and Tongolo days. Its alright, not too bad.

The album is on point, i cant lie. My favourite track has to be All of You, the track is too much. Davido really tried on this album, it even features artists such as May D, Sina Rambo and the legendary 2Face. The album art was done by a very close friend of mine TCD Photography.

This song always keeps me moving whenever i hear it, the song is just too much. Aje Butter is too much, i know he will blow and this song. This song will be a club banger and cant wait to be hearing it in the clubs. It was directed by Visionnaire Films and the video is alright I cant lie. The song is not your typical Afrobeat song, i think thats why I liked it so much, its got elements of House and Funky in it; its a completley different sound to what is out at the moment.
For theose wondering, 'SENRENRE' means the same as shakara or yanga, meaning acting stooshe for the non Nigerians.

I really like this song, i can see it becoming a big summer jam in the clubs, the song has some hints of Caribbean rhythm in it; something to defiantly get your hips moving.
There's just something about Davido, i dont know what it is, i cant explain. When i first heard this song, i really didnt like it, at all; then the video was released on the 4th of July and i watched it and ended up liking the song. It is his 4th official video release and also features SINA RAMBO aka "Fine boy no ogo". The video was shot in Florida and features a lot of beatiful women and at the end of the video we got a glimpse of Special :), the concept of the video is really nice and you can tell they went all out for this video; when Davido does a video he does it big DAMI DURO for example.
From the smiley face in the title you can tell i'm very excited about this post, not only am i a huge fan of MAY D, like i love him.. but this is also one of my favorite songs of 2012 so far; i cant just listen to this song once and it always keeps my waist moving....in the ILE IJO!
The video was released on May Ds official Youtube page (link will be posted below the video) six days ago and has acquired over 50,000 views and deserves a lot more.
The video also features choreographer KAFEE doing her thing in the video, we also see MAY D doing his own little azonto and some choreography and i have to admit he can actually dance and looks good whilst doing it. The video is is in black white which is cool and all but i dont get why, with such a live and bubbly song colour would have made the video POP. But i'm not even bothered...MAY D looks good in black and white as well as he does in colour ;)
Iyanya has come out with another hit, which is completely different sound to the massive hit KUKERE. I still like it though and will definitely get your waist moving, because mine certainly did.

NEW! Hit by Durella. CLUB ROCK. Not my favourite by Durella but i like it because it is a lot different from the usually music we hear from Durella, this one sounds more sensual and seductive, which is a lot different from his other songs. Even the video shows a more sexual side to Durella which i have to admit is quite sexy.
